Camotes Island

The Camotes Islands are a group of islands that form part of the province of Cebu, in the Philippines. The island group is located east of Cebu Island, southwest of Leyte Island, and north of Bohol Island.The Camotes is composed of the following four islands and their municipalities:Poro: the municipalities of Poro and Tudela. Pacijan: the sole municipality is San Francisco. Ponson: the sole municipality is Pilar. Tulang: is part of the barangay Esperanza, which is part of San Francisco.The islands of Pacijan and Poro are connected by a paved road called a causeway. Ponson is separated by the Camotes Sea, lying about four kilometers northeast of Poro. Tulang is located off the northern tip of Pacijan.

 The Camotes are low-lying islands. There is only one hill on Pacijan and another hill on Poro. These hills are used by a telecommunications company for relay stations. Pacijan has a fresh-water lake around two kilometers in length. Palm Trees are the dominant plant on the islands. There are also numerous native varieties of fruit trees and other plants.

 People living in this island are all satisfied and contented for what kind  of life they were living. Me and my family always treasured every moment in our home. In every laughter we made, in every weaknesses we had overcome, Camotes Island witnessed all these things.

Even though I am now living here in Cebu City, but still my heart belongs to my home and that's Camotes Island; the place I called my home.

In this place, I gained memories that cannot be paid by any amount of money each one of you have. In my home, there I was molded by my parents and in my home I knew the bad and good things in life. People seems part of my life added special moments I will always gonna treasure in my journey to life.

For me, Camotes Island is a place where all of us need to experience the different experiences I already experienced few years ago. Actually, Camotes Island is well-known of the beautiful spots, beaches and resorts that need to be visited.Especially in San Francisco to be specific. As what I have known, there were two(2) popular beaches and resorts that will make each one of us more interested to visit it. Namely;

In my home, Camotes Island, there are different kinds of fishes to be found also. I really love my home. There, I can always feel that I am not out-of-place. I really miss my home. I am excited to go HOME.,.,<3<3<3
